REPTILE RESCUE ADOPTIONS AND REHOMING

The New England Herpetological Society helps reptiles and amphibians in need of new homes and works to place adoptable animals with responsible keepers.

If you need to find a new home for your reptile or amphibian due to a change in circumstances, please contact us before bringing the animal to a meeting or event.

Email us at adoption@neherp.com with details about the animal, including species, age, size, temperament, health history, enclosure needs, and the reason for rehoming.

We may be able to accept animals at NEHS meetings or arrange another time to meet, but all drop-offs must be approved in advance.

LOOKING TO ADOPT?

If you are interested in adopting a reptile or amphibian, please email adoption@neherp.com and let us know what type of animal you are looking for, your experience level, and what kind of setup you currently have or are prepared to provide.

When an animal is available, we will work to match them with an appropriate home. Animals are only brought to meetings for adoption after communication has been established.

Adoption fees may apply to help support the care of animals in the NEHS adoption program.
